  • History:

Shaki developed a passion for electronic music in his teens, playing piano/synths/keyboards and forming the triphop/breakbeat group ‘Darbyshire’ with vocalist Taini and guest bass player Gabin. He also explored the technical side of electronic musical instruments, co-founding the legendary musical instruments shop ‘Muzitronika’ in Brno/Czech Republic with Daniel Forro and Libor Svehla. He reviewed music software for magazines and contributed to the first Czech audio/midi gear website ‘electrozone.cz’ (now ‘audiozone.cz’).

After facing some challenges, Shaki took a long hiatus from making music and pursued a career in business/management that led him to Berlin in 2013.

At age 43, Shaki decided to return to his roots, quit his manager job, reignited his passion for music making, learnt to play drums and started over again.
